The creative process is often difficult to confine and script precisely.  Flexibility upon the part of attendees is important. As November 12, Monday is a holiday, consideration may be given to extending the final sessions in order to complete any projects in progress.  It is advisable that attendees plan to be able to stay later as necessary.

DAY 1 Macro / “Big Picture” Content

• History of film – how film has changed from Charlie Chaplin up to present day
• Pure manipulation of the media by tech companies
• Film is intensely political
• Challenge is about creating an army of film makers willing to engage in making counter stories to the secular, leftist, liberal narrative
• Secular humanism… pretty violent right now… aggressively moving to squelch free speech.
• Film is one of the last bastions of free speech
• The Art of Story-Telling
• Get people of all ages excited about using film to tell true stories
• Can teach them the art and technical end of film making in a 5 day camp, but for this first two day event, we will focus on the philosophical and motivational reasons for film making
